Dr. GREGORY SAMANEZ-LARKIN is the Jack H Neely Associate Professor of psychology and neuroscience at Duke University. Among his many academic roles, he is the director of the NIH funded Scientific Research Network on Decision Neuroscience & Aging. Greg received his graduate training in Psychology with Dr. Brian Knutson, Dr. Laura Carstensen, and others at Stanford, and his postdoc training in neuroscience with Dr. David Zald at Vanderbilt. He has an excellent publication record including papers in Nature, Nature Reviews Neuroscience, and TICS, and has been extensively cited on topics related to motivation, affective science, the neuroscience of decision making, and cognitive aging, placing him as one of the preeminent emerging cognitive neuroscientists in the aging field. We are honored to have him as an Executive Committee member of our New Brain Aging Network.
